Mexican archdiocese: ‘St. Death’ superstitious, diabolical

Making clear that the Church had nothing to do with the police decision to demolish 30 shrines to “St. Death” in northern Mexico, a spokesman for the Archdiocese of Mexico City said, “It is no secret that this (Saint Death) religious organization is associated with drug traffickers and organized crime ... it is not only superstitious, but diabolical.”
