Pope's October prayer intentions

The Vatican has released the prayer intentions of Pope Francis for October 2014.
The Pope’s universal prayer intention is: “That Lord may grant peace to those parts of the world most battered by war and violence.”
His intention for evangelization is: “That World Mission Day may rekindle in every believer zeal for carrying the Gospel into all the world.”
