Council of Cardinals begins 4-day session

The Council of Cardinals met with Pope Francis on July 1, beginning a four-day series of meetings on the reorganization of the Roman Curia.
In this, their 5th series of meetings, the eight members of the Council are expected to evaluate the work of the pontifical councils and commissions. Their work will eventually result in recommendations to the Pope for restructuring the offices of the Vatican.
