Police baffled by cocaine shipped to Vatican post office
March 24, 2014
German customs inspectors intercepted a shipment of cocaine, packaged in condoms, addressed to the Vatican post office, AP reports.
The cocaine, packed in condoms, was shipped from South America. Because it was not directed to any one recipient, any Vatican resident might have received it. However, when Vatican police let the shipment go through to the Vatican post office, no one picked it up-- probably because the intended recipient had been warned.
