In South Sudanese conflict, priests save lives of ethnic opponents

The South Sudanese conflict, which has claimed over 1,000 lives and displaced 200,000 people since December 14, has pitted members of two ethnic groups – the Dinka and the Nuer – against each other.
The Fides news agency highlighted the efforts of Dinka priests and Protestant leaders who are working to save the lives of Nuers, and vice versa.
