Soccer team's championship thrills Pope Francis

Pope Francis has said that he is delighted with the Argentine soccer league championship of San Lorenzo, a club that he supports.
After securing the championship on Sunday, officials of the San Lorenzo club said that they are planning to meet with the Pope, hoping for a private audience.
Pope Francis is a longtime member of the San Lorenzo club, who has continued to pay his annual dues and follow the team’s games.
