5 priests arrested in China

Five priests affiliated with the underground Church in the Chinese region of Inner Mongolia have been arrested in Erenhot, a small city of 16,000 on the Mongolian border. The five were discussing personnel transfers when 30 police and other officials stormed the house in which they were meeting.

Among those arrested were the diocesan administrator and seminary rector.
