Italian priest’s canonization follows Pennsylvania man’s healing

The healing of a young Philadelphia man from a serious head injury was a miracle that took place through the intercession of Blessed Louis Guanella, according to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.

Pope Benedict will canonize three blesseds, including Blessed Louis Guanella, on October 23.
