  • 4 cups wholewheat flour

Here is a simple cinnamon and sugar doughnut recipe.

DIRECTIONS

Beat eggs, milk and shortening. Stir in sifted dry ingredients; lightly roll dough on well-floured board until 1/4 inch thick. Cut and fry in deep fat at 370 degrees until brown. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon while warm.
