UNICITY OF GOD

The absolute oneness of God. All the creeds of Christendom profess belief in one God, as opposed to polytheism and Manichean dualism, whichclaim that there is more than one deity. The Church bases God's unicity on his absolute perfection, since there cannot be more than one infinitely perfect God. Moreover, God's absolute oneness is provable from the unity of the world order.
