Knowledge or skill acquired by study and practice. In the language of scholastic philosophy, learning from education, which requires another person to impart the knowledge and which involves a mental or moral development of the person educated. Learning directly pertains to what is acquired; education rather pertains to what is acquired; education rather pertains to who is developed.
