A general term that refers to any kind of combat or battle. The morality of fighting is to be judged by the usual norms. Not all fighting is prohibited, since self-defense may be legitimate and righteous anger is justified. Fighting is forbidden when the reason for the struggle is unjust, or the conflict could be avoided, or the means used are unreasonable, or the struggle is unnecessarily prolonged.
