You want them to object to abortions? Start performing them on animals! Abort a litter of cute little puppies or a pony -even better, do it as "performance art"- and watch their reaction!!

Is it simply human compassion to acknowledge that being burnt to death or drawn and quartered or have a needle with a lethal substance plunged into one's heart is painful? If this is done less painfully, is it less the willful taking of an innocent human life? At what point will lawmakers simply stand within the boundary of truth, that murder is murder and the ultimate right is not death with compassion but life protected by justice?

Ah yes, the famed pseudo-science quote that itself has no basis in fact but that sets the political table for the "we represent science while they represent superstition" fight. And this junk goes unchallenged by the scientific community because?
