Where do we send the candygrams?
"Witch hunts and gay bashing have no place in the Church," writes USCCB President Bishop William Skylstad, who informs us in the same column, "There are many wonderful and excellent priests in the Church who have a gay orientation, are chaste and celibate, and are very effective ministers of the Gospel."
We all like to learn of "wonderful and excellent priests," Excellency. Tell us whom you have in mind. Name a dozen or so.
