eNewsletter Subject: The Quest for Holiness

This is my last Insights message before Election Day in America, so I'll leave you with one final thought: Voting is part of the quest for holiness.

As Christians we are called to be a special leaven in the social order. Every aspect of our public lives should be an occasion of grace. Every decision should be made for love of God.

The Trinity is the model of love for us, for God is a community of self-giving love, three Persons in a perfect unity of love. Happily, we've just added a new What You Need to Know on the Trinity. Surely it is worthwhile to reflect on the Trinity, particularly on the salvific missions of the three Persons, in preparation for voting, or any other Christian duty.

Exploring the idea of holiness, desiring it, and striving for it should involve every aspect of our lives. Some areas will be illuminated more quickly by grace than others.
