Secular ideals are rampant in higher education, and Catholic practitioners often maintain their positions by twisting the Faith to accommodate assumptions which ultimately undermine it.

We all know this. Universities have become the most culture-bound and least tolerant institutions on earth. Moreover, Catholic academia is typically the last bastion of infidelity in a Church which elsewhere underwent significant renewal under popes St. John Paul II and Benedict XVI.
