There are newly-discovered design flaws in the computer chips you use every day.

Everyone who uses CatholicCulture.org depends on devices driven by computer chips to do so. And now the news is full of the dangers of two new threats, dubbed Meltdown and Spectre.

In recent weeks, nearly every chip maker has discovered that its products have a design flaw which has gone unnoticed for the past ten years. This affects the vast majority of personal computers, tablets and smart phones.
