Today marks the end of July; one more month gone; one month closer, God willing, to seeing Our Lord face to face.

In On the Culture, I take up the question of what leads people to conversion, prompted by the two recent books I've reviewed: The mystery of conversion, always deeply rooted in Divine mercy.

I also comment on the Vatican's mission at the United Nations, which has little to do with conversion. I suggest that Vatican delegations ought to avoid the rhetoric of the world.

Phil Lawler follows up his recent coverage of Planned Parenthood's involvement in trafficking in fetal tissues with some further comments about the use of vaccines from such tissue: Fetal tissues and vaccinations; are you part of the problem?...
