eNewsletter Subject: World Youth Day: Successful

Pope Francis is currently at World Youth Day, where he was greeted by a million people. Of course there were prophecies of disaster in the media prior to the event. See Phil Lawler's City Gates commentary: Invisible people popping up in Rio.

Phil had earlier also made some predictions about what the Pope would talk about in the course of this trip. For that, see What to expect during the Pope's trip to Brazil.

More important, of course, is what the Pope actually is talking about. We have some of the earlier addresses, before his meeting with the young people:
