INDULGENTIARUM DOCTRINA

Apostolic Constitution of Pope Paul VI on the Church's teaching regarding indulgences, that they are founded on divine revelation, and that the Church is now making certain changes in how they are to be gained. Twenty new norms are given stressing that "indulgences are attached to what the faithful do, and not to things or places which are only the occasion for gaining the indulgences" (February 14, 1966).
