‘Jane Roe’ arrested at Notre Dame

Norma McCorvey-- the “Jane Roe” of the 1973 Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in all 50 states-- was among 39 people arrested for trespassing as they protested the University of Notre Dame’s decision to award President Barack Obama an honorary degree. McCorvey converted to Catholicism in 1998.
