'Underground' Chinese Catholics organize summer-camp religious instruction
August 09, 2012

Attending the camp represents a sacrifice for both the children and their families, but loyal Catholics willingly make that sacrifice. Not long ago, this sort of "illegal" religious instruction would have been banned by government officials. Now it is tolerated--although the head of the parish council reveals that he has been under surveillance.
