Police: Cardinal O’Brien may be letter-bomb target
April 21, 2011
Police in Scotland have warned Cardinal Keith O’Brien that he may be a target of a letter-bomb campaign aimed at supporters of Celtic, a Glasgow-based football team. Fans of the team tend to be Catholic, while Protestants tend to support the arch-rival Rangers.
Prime Minister David Cameron has denounced the bombing campaign as “completely appalling and unacceptable.”
