Australian archbishop: give preference to Christian refugees from Syria

Archbishop Anthony Fisher of Sydney, Australia, has said that his country should give special preference to Christian refugees from Syria.

"Other groups are also suffering badly and being persecuted but many Syrian Christians have relatives and a cultural affinity in Australia and we should be honouring those ties and connections," the archbishop said.
