Attack on church averted in Nigeria
July 14, 2015
Worshippers at a Protestant church in Jos, Nigeria, escaped death on July 12 when bombs were discovered before they exploded.
“They were removed and detonated,” said Ezekiel Manzo, a spokesman for Nigeria’s National Emergency Management Agency.
The discovery comes amid a wave of violence committed by the jihadist group Boko Haram.
