Polish missionary priest kidnapped in Central African Republic

A rebel group in the Central African Republic kidnapped a Polish missionary priest on October 12.

Father Mateusz Dziedzic was abducted by members of the Democratic Front of the Central African People. The priest who directs the Pontifical Mission Societies in Poland told Reuters that “they said they wanted to exchange the kidnapped missionary for their leader, who is currently imprisoned in Cameroon.”
