French Olympic chapel desecrated
March 04, 2014
Vandals have desecrated the chapel in the Olympic village at Grenoble, the site of the 1968 Winter Olympics.
Le Dauphiné libéré, a regional newspaper, reported that the vandals stole a ciborium containing consecrated hosts.
“We do not think it is an act of Christianophobia, but a theft,” a diocesan spokesman said.
