Religious leaders appeal for 2-state solution to Israeli-Palestinian conflict
March 04, 2014
Thirty-three Christian, Jewish, and Muslim religious leaders from the United States said in a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry the two-state solution is the “only realistic resolution” to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“The coming months are critical to achieving a negotiated two-state peace agreement, the only realistic resolution of the conflict,” said the endorsers of a February 28 letter sent by the National Interreligious Leadership Initiative.
Catholic endorsers included the current chairmen of two committees of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, who retired as Archbishop of Washington in 2006.

It's obvious, too, that Obama doesn't understand the region. Trying to intimidate the Israeli PM to give up Israeli security because the Palestinian Authority has shown their nonviolence and diplomatic efforts - I have a bridge in Brooklyn you can have cheap, if you believe that. As this administration has consistently proven, they have no idea what foreign policy is (for that matter, religion, the Constitution, etc, too)and how to conduct it.

These clerics should stick to business they may understand something about. About the safety and continued existence of Israel, they are clearly clueless.
