eNewsletter Subject: The importance of words (and the Word)
It seems that the most noteworthy materials added to CatholicCulture.org this week can be linked to a common theme—the importance of words and how we use them.
For example, I have been warned recently by several people not to succumb to the temptation to defend Pope Francis. That is a very strange warning indeed, and I'm not buying. See: Rehabilitating Pope Francis, and saving ourselves.
Also, I wonder if it was purely a coincidence that, just a few days ago, I wrote about our work here at CatholicCulture.org under this title: The importance of words: The key to our Catholic mission.
