Scottish cardinal will urge all Christians to wear the cross

Cardinal Keith O’Brien of Edinburgh, Scotland will use his Easter Sunday homily to encourage Christians to wear a cross, the Scotsman has learned.
The newspaper quotes from a text of the cardinal’s prepared homily, in which he urges the faithful “wear proudly a symbol of the cross of Christ on their garments each and every day of their lives.”
The cardinal’s suggestion is clearly a response to the news that the government of Great Britain will oppose the petition by two Christian women to the European Court of Human Rights for redress, after they were told they could not wear crosses at their places of employment.

Cornelius-Aye, you're right. Between the SNP and the British PM, what is one to do but fight for what's right? I guess that means to fight them both. Of course, the EU has all but refused to uphold the rights of others to have their own opinions, especially religious ones. I guess everyone having the same opinion on every issue would make life easier for the (EU and US) politicians. Defender - indeed, but there's no deep love of Christ in the Scottish National Party's move for independence. The SNP would establish gay 'marriage' if independence comes, and this is a major sticking point with many Scots. Anyway, this makes me consider wearing a crucifix, even though I generally abhor jewelery on a man (excepting a wedding ring).

Imagine if all Christians (including the world's 1.3 billion Catholics) wore the cross every day!
