Copts, Egyptian government plan extra security for January 7 Christmas services

Leaders of Egypt’s Coptic Church have met with government officials to plan extra security measures for the Coptic celebration of the Nativity, which will take place on January 7, the Fides news service reports.
Egyptian interior minister Mohammed Ibrahim said that the government was cooperating with Coptic officials to schedule extra police patrols around churches at the time of Christmas services.
