Catholic Recipe: Icing for Sacher Torte
Also Called: Icing for Sachertorte
This chocolate icing accompanies the Sacher Torte, a cake suitable for birthdays or namedays.
In upper part of double boiler melt 3 oz. bitter chocolate, 2 oz. sweet chocolate, 3 oz. butter. Add 1/3 cup of cream. Stir. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 box sifted confectioner's sugar.
