Catholic Recipe: European Chocolate Icing

    INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 4 oz. semisweet chocolate
  • 6 Tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

DIRECTIONS

Melt ina double boiler over--not in--boiling water the butter and chocolate. When melted, add and beat well or blend whipping cream. Sift and add, until the desired sweetness is reached and the icing is smooth the sugar and vanilla. Spread while warm.
