Catholic Recipe: Shortbread
DIRECTIONS
1. Rub the butter into the flour and sugar.
2. Knead to a smooth dough.
3. Press into a greased 7 in./18 cm round cake tin.
4. Prick surface with a fork.
5. Bake in oven at 325 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
6. Mark into pieces but leave in the tin for 5 minutes before turning out on to a cooling tray.
7. Store in an airtight container.
