New Apologetics Volume
By Dr. Jeff Mirus (bio - articles - send a comment) | June 05, 2012 5:06 PM

The third volume of my collected Essays on Apologetics is now available in our eBook store, in the Kindle store, and in the Nook store. When you purchase from shop.catholicculture.org, of course, we get the full benefit of your expenditure, and you get the book in all three supported formats (.MOBI, .EPUB, and .PDF).
The first volume focused on preliminary questions about the nature of truth and Revelation; the second focused on issues common to non-Catholics; and this third volume focuses on the quarrels within the Church. There are thirty-six essays written between 2007 and 2012 covering many relevant topics, such as:
- The nature of authority in the Church
- Modernism
- Traditionalism
- Catholic social teaching
- The Catholic approach to Scripture
- Particular controversies
- Conceptual and spiritual enrichment
The collection opens and closes with two of my more well-known essays, Converting the Average Catholic to start, and The Catholic Side of Salvation to end. I hope that all those who enjoy writings in defense of Catholic faith and life will welcome this volume, and the complete apologetics series.
