New Apologetics Volume

The third volume of my collected Essays on Apologetics is now available in our eBook store, in the Kindle store, and in the Nook store. The first volume focused on preliminary questions about the nature of truth and Revelation; the second focused on issues common to non-Catholics; and this third volume focuses on the quarrels within the Church. There are thirty-six essays written between 2007 and 2012 covering many relevant topics, such as:
- The nature of authority in the Church
- Modernism
- Traditionalism
- Catholic social teaching
- The Catholic approach to Scripture
- Particular controversies
- Conceptual and spiritual enrichment

You may hate the pope and find fault in all that he does, but it will be a very awkward day for you if he ever gets canonized ;)

As a "customer" of this church, it seems there is one way to send a "proper" message to the Vatican. Wouldn't it be interesting if the USCCB decided to discontinue the Peters Pence collection..... or we as individuals just not participate in it, until the investigations being requested by the USCCB are approved.

Some find the evidence of the Holy Spirit guiding the Church in the fact that in the 2000 years of Church history bishops and priests have not been able to destroy it.
