A warning for the White House
When a staunchly Republican magazine like National Review begins making noises about secession from the Republican Party, it's time for GOP leaders to take notice.
And that's exactly what's happened in a remarkable editorial, which points out that conservatives are losing battles on Capitol Hill regularly, especially on economic and social questions. If the White House and the Republican leadership won't stand and fight, the NR editors suggest that this might be "not a bad time for conservatives to declare their independence from the GOP establishment."

The Republican establishment doesn't have the stomach for what needs to be done. We're not dealing with "liberals" in the Democratic Party and in our courts, we're dealing with Socialists. Socialists have no morality beyond doing what it takes to get what they want--which is why the Constitution doesn't even figure into the Supreme Court's rulings. We need a president willing to refuse to enforce unconstutional rulings and a Congress willing to impeach or defund. Alas, we have only careerists.
