Our ally in the fight for democracy

By Phil Lawler (bio - articles ) | Nov 02, 2004

The charges of selling alcohol were clumsily introduced after the arrest. Brian O'Connor was originally arrested by Saudi religious police because he was proclaiming the Gospel.

Notice: "religious police." Those are the folks who enforce the strict ban on the practice or preaching of any faith other than Islam.

Quote: "And these, theoretically, are our allies.... " Why yes, indeed they are! Given secular humanism's desire to eliminate Christianity, that would make them allies in that cause. I'm sure the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals would fully approve of this, and would uphold any conviction were the Saudi's ever to ask for their input. Allies... yep! Right up there with the Canadians on this issue.
