Bill targeting crisis pregnancy centers proceeds in Baltimore
November 03, 2009
Despite opposition from Catholic leaders, including Auxiliary Bishop Denis Madden, the Baltimore City Council’s judiciary and legislative investigations committee has voted 3-1 in favor of a measure that would compel crisis pregnancy centers to post signs saying that do not provide abortion or birth control. The bill has been endorsed by NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland; abortion advocates claim that crisis pregnancy centers mislead clients.

The pro-aborts are really reaching on this one. I am a volunteer Client Advocate at a Crisis Pregnancy Center, and we do offer great services to our clients, albeit, to coax them to choose life, and then to support their choice of life. At least at our center, we never give the impression that we offer abortion, and I doubt that the ones in Baltimore do either. The pro death folks are panicing. Good
