Another medical breakthrough from adult stem cells

Some persons with Type 1 (juvenile) diabetes who received stem-cell treatment from their own bone marrow cells have been able to go for long periods of time without insulin, according to a new study. The Church condemns embryonic stem-cell research, which involves the killing of human embryos, but has no objection to adult stem-cell research.
