Vatican spokesman: Magi are models for Year of Faith
CWN - January 07, 2013
In his weekly editorial, the director of the Holy See Press Office said that the Magi “can and must accompany us” during the Year of Faith.
“Faith taken for granted is not faith,” writes Father Federico Lombardi, SJ. “Faith is the soul of a pilgrimage and of an ever renewed search. Creation, the sciences, traditions, Scriptures, the struggles of reason and of life, dialogue with those we meet along the way--these are not foreign to the journey, as the Magi realized.”
