Palestinian Christians suffer in 'catastrophic' Gaza offensive, diplomat says

An influential Palestinian Christian leader has reported that Innocent civilians, both Muslim and Christian, are suffering under the Israeli offensive in Gaza. Mahmoud Abbas said that the military action is a "war against the whole Palestinian people." The situation in Gaza today is "catastrophic," he said, as "people have been under siege for so long now and lack food, medicine and basic necessities."
