‘Rite for the Blessing of a Child in the Womb’ now available

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has published the text of the Rite for the Blessing of a Child in the Womb.
The Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments recently granted the USCCB’s request to approve the rite, which was written at the suggestion of Archbishop Joseph Kurtz. The blessing, which is available online in English and Spanish, may be conferred during or outside of Mass.
