Pakistan: bishops’ conference laments plight of Christian, Hindu women

The justice and peace commission of the Pakistani bishops’ conference has published a study documenting the plight of Christian and Hindu women in a predominantly Muslim society.
Describing these women as “doubly discriminated” against, the study found that 43% of Christian and Hindu women have suffered religious discrimination and 76% have experienced sexual harassment at work.
