Philippines: 20,000 march on behalf of slain missionary; army involved in killing?
CWN - October 25, 2011
More than 20,000 people took to the streets in three Philippine cities on October 24 to demand a thorough investigation into the recent murder of Father Fausto Tentorio, an Italian missionary.
“Our investigation has revealed that -- according to the testimonies collected -- the army may be involved,” said Sister Julita Encarnacion. “So we ask for more commitment on behalf of [the Aquino administration] to decide on a thorough investigation to establish the responsibility in the killing of Father Fausto.”
