Catholic college withdraws invitation to Ellen Goodman

St. Francis University, a Franciscan college in central Pennsylvania, has withdrawn an invitation to pro-abortion writer Ellen Goodman to deliver a prestigious lecture. The decision followed comments by the Cardinal Newman Society on the inappropriateness of the invitation.

God bless the Newman Society for standing up for our Lord's teaching and for the college for making the right decision. Notre Dame could take a lesson from this.

Goodman's pro-abortion jihad on behalf of the murderers was never a secret. Why was the invitation made to begin with? The leftists at St. Francis have fleen like cockroaches into the shadows when the lights were turned on. But they're still there.
