Protestant pastor murdered in Orissa

August 30, 2011

A Bapist minister has been murdered in Orissa, the eastern Indian state that was the site of massive anti-Christian persecution in 2008.

Aid to the Church in Need reported on August 29 that Minoketan (Michael) Nayak was found on July 26 in Baliguda with a bullet wound in his head. Police are treating the incident as an accident.
