Satanists suspected in Indian church desecration
CWN - August 17, 2011
A Syro-Malankara Catholic church in the southwestern Indian city of Pune was desecrated on the night of August 15.
Those responsible for the desecration “vandalized the altar, burnt the tabernacle, as well as tearing up the Bible and prayer books,” said Father Varghese Valikodath. The Blessed Sacrament was not reserved in the tabernacle at the time of the desecration because the priests who minister at the parish do not live near the mission church.
