Uruguay: presidential veto stops legalization of abortion

President Tabare Vasquez has fulfilled his promise to veto a bill that would have legalized abortion in Uruguay. The legislation, which had been approved by the country's parliament, would have allowed women to choose abortion during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. ?
