Philippine bishops warn of ‘impending’ terrorist retaliation
CWN - May 05, 2011
Bishops on the island of Mindanao are warning of the danger of terrorist attacks in response to the killing of al-Qaida founder Osama bin Laden.
“We are really worried [about] the impending retaliation,” said Bishop Martin Jumoad of Isabela, who earlier in the week welcomed the death of bin Laden as a “triumph of good over evil.”
