Website Review: St. Michael's Institute

A review based on: http://www.saintmichael.net/

Description

Saint Michael’s Institute for the Psychological Sciences is "a national alliance of mental health professionals devoted to integrating the teachings of the Catholic Church with the discoveries of psychology and psychiatry, for the health and happiness of individuals, marriages, families, organizations and communities." The site itself gives a general introduction to the Institute, but also features information, explanations, suggestions and links on topics such as psychological trauma, marriage and family life, intrinsic tasks of marriage, homosexuality, post-abortion syndrome, and psychiatric and psychological disorders.

This website can be an invaluable source for finding treatment of a psychiatric nature from doctors who recognize the spiritual dimension of life and who are Catholic, believe in God, objective truth and morality.
